Radio presenter and comedian Fred MacAulay (& Co) will be joined by a team of keen litter picking volunteers this Thursday live on Radio Scotland. The Thomas Fortune Work Centre’s Gardening Therapy Group carries out several litter picks each month and has already signed up to take part in National Spring Clean 2011. So when the radio station said they’d like to join forces with a local group to show how we can all take action on litter, we didn’t hesitate to put them forward!
Tune in to 92-95 FM or listen online, 10.30am – 12 noon on 3rd March 2011, to find out more and check out the group’s blog to find out how things are picking up in Drumchapel.

Glad it went well, guys. There’s been an extra flurry of registrations since you were on the ol’ wireless, so it looks as if you’ve been an inspiration! Best of luck with your up-coming spring clean.
